ZainSoft QR user guide

Signing in

1. Open qr.zainsoft.info/app on a computer, tablet or phone.
2. Enter the username and password you received from ZainSoft.
3. In « Compte », change your password and add your name, phone and email.

Creating your venue

1. Open « Menus » then « + Nouvel établissement ».
2. Enter the name, main menu language, currency and style (light or dark).
3. The menu QR code is created automatically and never changes, even when you edit the menu.

Adding categories and dishes

1. In the « Menu » tab, click « + Nouvelle catégorie » (starters, mains, desserts, drinks…).
2. In a category, click « + Nouveau plat »: name, description, price and photo.
3. Options: add sizes or portions with their own price (half portion, 33 cl, double…).
4. Tick tags (vegetarian, spicy, halal…) and allergens.
5. The switch makes a dish unavailable; the ↑ ↓ arrows change the order.
6. Everything is saved automatically.

Translating the menu

1. In « Paramètres › Langues », choose the main language and up to 5 more.
2. In the « Menu » tab, the language buttons at the top change the editing language.
3. In a dish's form, each language has its own name and description.
4. Untranslated text shows in the main language. Guests choose their language at the top of the menu.

Several menus and hours

1. The « + » button next to the menus creates another menu (lunch, drinks, brunch…).
2. « Tous les jours » opens availability: tick the days and set the hours.
3. « Dupliquer » copies a menu, « Imprimer » prints a paper menu, « Excel » exports dishes and prices.

Importing a paper menu with AI

1. In the « Menu » tab, click « ✨ Importer avec l'IA ».
2. Add up to 4 sharp photos (or a PDF) and start the import.
3. After 20 to 60 seconds, the categories and dishes appear: check the prices.
4. Available with the Pro and Business plans.

Customising the menu page

1. Open « Paramètres »: the phone preview on the right updates with every change.
2. « Apparence »: logo (shown round), « Grande image en haut du menu » (a wide photo of your room or a dish), main colour, light or dark style.
3. On a computer, the menu is centred with a QR code to open it on a phone.
4. Wi-Fi, extra information, social media and reviews appear at the bottom of the menu.
5. « Général »: address, phone, opening hours and the menu's web address.

Tables and printable QR codes

1. Open « Tables et QR ». Enter a prefix (Table, Terrace…) and a number, then « Ajouter ».
2. « Imprimer / PDF des tables »: choose 4, 9 or 16 QR codes per page and print or save as PDF.
3. Each QR carries its table name: orders arrive with the right number.
4. « Personnaliser le QR » changes the frame, logo and colours of all the menu's QR codes.

Receiving orders

1. Turn ordering on in « Paramètres › Commandes à table ».
2. Guests scan their table's QR code, add dishes with « + » and send.
3. The order appears in « Commandes » with a chime (turn sound on with 🔔).
4. Click « Accepter », « Prête », then « Servie »: guests see the status on their phone. Payment is made on site.

Creating other QR codes

1. Open « QR codes », click « + Créer un QR code » and choose the type.
2. Dynamic QR: short link, content editable later, with statistics.
3. Customise frame, logo, colours and shapes; download as PNG, JPG, SVG or an A4 sheet. Always test the scan before printing.

Statistics

1. « Statistiques » shows scans of all your QR codes by day, device, system and language.
2. For the menu you also see the most active tables.

Till integration (optional)

1. ZainSoft QR works on its own, with no till: orders arrive in « Commandes » on any phone, tablet or computer.
2. If you have a SMAELLING till, in « Paramètres › Liaison caisse », generate the venue key (Pro and Business).
3. Our technician sets it up on your till: table orders arrive there.
